WORM PROGRAM

I have started this page…to try and brainstorm and revitalize (not the right word to describe program, it is going well just not as well as I think it should) the Worm Program. We have several wonderful teachers that are volunteering and serving but there are only a few of us.

Here are a several documents that I have been working on to try to focus our efforts:

Here is the Ministry “MAP”: http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dd9fdxtg_12g4t3sfdd

Here is the Volunteer “MAP”: http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dd9fdxtg_13g69sd5fv

Here is the Ministry Work Sheet: http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dd9fdxtg_15jzxf4hck

Shepherd volunteer Description: http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dd9fdxtg_16cmnk2jf5

Teacher Volunteer Description: http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dd9fdxtg_17dm7jt2cc

Please read through these documents and let me know what you think and if you are on board to help out.

Thanks to all of you who are working hard to make this a success for our kids.

  1. Hi Tom
I have read through the teacher plan and think its great. I’m not sure I can be the type of teacher you are looking for but will do my best. Consider me on board!

  2. Hey tom,

I think the different descriptions and teacher plan is really good. I wish more people would volunteer to do this wonderful work.

  3. Tom,
Really good information. I have been negligent about the memory verses. I see the need to spend some time each week on the verse - maybe after each rotation, we could have the children stop on their way to children’s worship and recite the verse for the congregation?
I have thought for years that it would be great if we teachers could get together periodically to share ideas, encourage one another, lament? (of course, I never did anything to initiate it). Maybe a quarterly Sat. A.M. coffee date would work?
