Well…I have been on the phone quite a bit this week contacting various organizations in the Redding area that meet the needs of the homeless and low income. I am going to be meeting with Momo a doctor in town that works for Shasta County Health and is in charge of the Hope Van Project…that travels around and gives medical care and attention to the homeless and impoverished in Shasta County. Like I said before I had a great conversation with Jake Mangas at NVCSS…he said that they have several Low income and transitional housing units where there are families and individuals in need of support, care, and love. We will be getting together to see how we can meet the needs of these individuals in our community.
